Production Operatives Fish Processing - Barnstaple

The positions are employed directly by my client and are permanent positions

My client is looking for a number of Production Operatives to work at their seafood processing site based in Barnstable.

There are days and night opportunities, with overtime leading up to 48 hours per week. My client is looking for candidates who are willing to work extra days to help with their busy periods. 

Sustainability is engrained within their business, and they are looking for reliable candidates who are looking for long-term opportunities.

Your main duties will be:

• Processing and packing shellfish products.
• Report to Team Leaders and/or Production Managers.
• Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are maintained at all times.
• Oversee machinery.
• Always maintaining quality standards of all products.
• Working efficiently to ensure that targets are met.
• Preparing pallets for despatch.
• Being a team player and supporting your colleagues.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Providing flexibility wherever possible.
• Occasional data input.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a lightly chilled environment and have an enthusiastic “can do” approach to work. You will be part of a highly motivated team who are dedicated to provide the highest level of service to our customers.
